The Ibizan hotel chain Concept Hotel Group stands out for its ingenuity in creating conceptual hotels on the island, basing its success on investment in design and content of each product. Its growth has led to the company’s reorganisation, with the consequent generation of new jobs seeing it employ 110 people in 2018.
The Group continues to place its trust in the ilmiodesign architecture and interior design studio, led by Andrea Spada and Michele Corbani, who are also in charge of the designing the company’s new office.
It will be located in Sant Jordi (Ibiza) and as you enter the new office you’ll be taken on a trip through time to the mid-70’s, with inspiration taken from Vinyl, the hit series created by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger. The lobby will have a jukebox and each area will have its own character, reflecting the Group’s slogan “A story to tell”.
Concept Hotel Group is celebrating its fifth anniversary and since its creation it has opened five hotels, each one with its own design and concept.
Diego Calvo, founding partner and CEO said: “In 2017 the Group billed 11% more and increased its average prices by 5%, compared to 2016”. The company has created a new organisational chart in line with its continual progression with Gabriel Bover, who was previously a director at Iberostar Hotel & Resorts, installed as the Group’s Managing Director.
2018 sees the opening of two new hotels: Cubanito in Cala Gració, a hotel that pays tribute to Cuba and the popular Little Havana district in Miami, and Paradiso, in the bay of San Antonio, a hotel concept focused on the world of modern art and collaborations with art curators. Cubanito will stand out for its Art-Deco architecture, and Paradiso for its colourful suites and decorative elements such as neon lights, Smeg refrigerators and Marshall loudspeakers.
The Group is also creating a brand focused on urban hotels, a combination between a hotel and the house of your dreams designed as a real home.
